Jennifer set up ORA FITNESS in March 2008 after successfully working in gyms and personal training studios in Notting Hill, London, Brighton and Melbourne, Australia. She wanted to create a private studio where clients receive 100% attention from their trainer. When they visit Ora Fitness, all clients enjoy their experience, which includes use of state of the art equipment, their own private parking space and fresh towels. This results in effective fitness training with fun and every client achieves their desired goals.

Matthew Stapleton – Self Defence Fitness
Back in 2007 in the UK he completed training in Nin Po (Samurai training) and then he came across Emil Martirossian Urban combat Jeet Kune Do. Emil has a wide range of knowledge and experience. He has trained military martial arts, traditional martial arts, tae kwando, akido amongst others and Matt soaked up as much of this knowledge as he could. Here Matt still remains practicing this form of martial arts having found an effective fusion of traditional technique, fitness and functionality.
Matt’s ethos is that self defence should always be functional. Matt always says “Yes 360 spinning kicks are cool but they are not something I can do with ease (try as I might) and I am not sure why you would use them in a street situation, especially when anyone can be taught to throw a good knee kick and chop someone down like a tree”
Matt’s fusion of flexibility, strength and speed training with realistic, simple and effective self defence drills provide skills that could save your or someone else’s life. He is fun, enthusiastic and passionate so if you would like to try a different type of fitness training try a class or one to one session with him.

In 2017, Lewis joined Ora Fitness after recently retiring, due to injury, from professional cricket at Sussex CCC. To go along with his experience within professional sport, he is also a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer. His cricket career was even more extraordinary with the fact the he was born with a rare condition called Poland syndrome. A condition that he hid for many years from the public while pursuing his career in a fully able bodied sport. It has meant he is without a right pectoral muscle and 2 ribs behind it, leaving him with huge physical challenges during his career and on a day-to-day basis, which also lead to his passion within fitness. Throughout his career, Lewis prided himself of being the fittest player within the squad and through his range of injuries, his condition and own personal interest he gained a great knowledge of the functionality of the body as well as his own.
As a keen advocate of yoga, functional movement training, weight training and high intensity training. Lewis believes in helping people increase their range of movement while reaching their fitness goals such as muscle gain, weight loss, toning and overall wellbeing.
He will also be starting a mens only Flexibility class in Spring 2017.
